Carpet Cleaning
What separates SERVuRITE from all of the other carpet cleaners is that most carpet cleaning companies offer only one type of carpet cleaning, commonly referred to as “Steam Cleaning”. Well the truth is that the water never gets hot enough to produce steam. The water is typically around 180 degrees and steam is 212 degrees. The actual term for what is commonly called “Steam Cleaning” is “Hot Water Extraction”.
Most companies employ a two step process to clean carpet. 1. Prespray the carpet with the cleaning agent. 2. Extract with a Scrub Wand. The Scrub Wand sprays the hot water into the carpet in a fine mist that resembles steam. The scrub wand also vacuums the dirty water from the carpet. End of process for most companies.

SERVuRITE looks at carpet cleaning differently. Think of your dishwasher or laundry washer. You can choose different settings depending on how dirty the items are, typically “Light” , “Medium”, and “Heavy”. The difference is time. The heavier the setting, the longer the process. There are three factors in the carpet cleaning equation: Chemical, Heat, and Agitation. Increasing or decreasing any of the 3 factors will determine the outcome of the cleaning. Carpet chemicals come in numerous qualities and strengths. Some companies may choose to use inferior products to save money. SERVuRITE uses only the highest quality products on the market. Once the chemical is sprayed onto the carpet, it needs to be agitated into the carpet so that the chemical can mix with and remove the soil from the carpet fibers. Many companies skip this step altogether. Depending on the severity of the job, SERVuRITE will use either a carpet rake or a power brush scrubber for the agitation step of the process. To extract the soils and chemical mixture, most companies will use only the scrub wand. servurite will use the wand for light jobs. For medium to Heavy jobs, SERVuRITE employs a revolutionary rotary extraction machine call the “ROTOVAC”, which scrubs, sprays the hot water solution and vacuums all at once. Finally SERVuRITE wiil groom your carpet with the carpet rake and that is when your carpet will look like new. |
